Allio speaks with Dr. Ackoff on a variety of topics, including business education, leadership, current fads, etc. Ackoff argues that systemic thinking considers problems in terms of how the interactions of the parts, and the parts with the whole and its environment, create the properties of the whole. Specifically, he talks about how managers learn to develop effective strategy and promote innovation.
